My name is Maribeth Berliner. I've been teaching at Richmond Elementary School since 1989. Over the years I've taught children at different levels in a variety of settings. For several summers, I directed a district Math & Science Camp. I received a BS in Elementary Education from the University of Vermont, and continued my work there, receiving my M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction. I've organized a Jump Rope for Heart Event at RES every year since 1995, which is run after school through our Enrichment for All Program. I greatly enjoy the privilege of working with children and their families in the Richmond community. I'm always building favorite memories at RES! I especially enjoy seeing my students continue their journeys beyond RES - and become caring, productive, successful young men and women. When I see them out in the world doing all kinds of exciting and brilliant things, it's amazing to me... and it makes me proud and grateful to have been their teacher.
