Today our 3rd and 4th graders enjoyed a visit from the Vermont Symphony Orchestra's Musical Petting Zoo. Students were treated to an introduction and demonstration of several orchestral instruments after which they were invited to play and explore any of the instruments on their own! This hands on, free explore format is so important to fostering a love of instrument playing. It was a wonderful experience for our young learners and musicians!
