Blueberry Picking to Kick Off the Farm to School Program for 2014-15 #vted #resvt #cesuvt

Greetings RES families! This is Hilary Redman, your RES Farm to School Coordinator, and I am happy to announce that Owl’s Head Blueberry Farm has graciously invited us to pick blueberries for our upcoming school year. 

This is a call for volunteers to join us on Wednesday, August 20^th from 9:00 until 12:00 for blueberry picking; however, if it’s raining, our rain date will be Friday, August 22^nd from 9:00 until 12:00. 

Additionally, please note that you will need to bring your own containers. Please email me at farmtoschool@cesuvt.org and let me know if you will be attending so that the farm can accommodate our parking needs.I look forward to kicking-off this school year’s Farm to School program at Owl’s Head Blueberry Farm.
