October is National Farm to School Month and we are kicking it off right with our first Taste Test of the year next Thursday, October 8th during school lunch. We will be featuring the Vermont Harvest of the Month: Broccoli and Cauliflower. Check out this list of events for the month and stay tuned for more information:
- Monday, October 5th & Wednesday, October 7th after school gleaning at VYCC with Jericho Elementary School (please RSVP to Mae atfarmtoschool@cesuvt.org)
- Thursday, October 8th Lunch Time Taste Test with local broccoli (please e-mail Mae if interested in helping out/getting involved)
- Sunday, October 25th 11am-3pm 6th Annual Harvest Fest at the West Monitor Barn
