Great Day for Farm to School at #RESVT #vted

What a great day for Farm to School at RES! Ms. Gilbar's kindergarten taste tested local pickled beets and learned about all kinds of root vegetables as part of our Harvest of the Month programming. For lunch, we served local meat from Misty Knoll Farms with local carrots and soup made from local squash. After school, we made muffins with Jericho Settlers Farm carrots and a homemade vanilla glaze. Eating local never tasted so good! #tryabite #RESFarmtoSchool
