MINT TEA at the FARMER’S MARKET 9/21

RES will have quite a presence at the Richmond Farmers Market this Friday. Our School Garden crew will be selling iced and hot tea made with mint and other herbs from our school garden. Money raised will go toward purchasing seeds for next year. In another booth, our Four Winds volunteers will be selling fresh-squeezed lemonade again. So far, lemonade sales this month have brought in roughly $500 for the program. And, our students are having a great time honing their entrepreneurial skills. Come find us at the market -- Volunteers Green 3-6:30 --and join in the fun!"

MINT TEA at the FARMER’S MARKET 9/21
From the School Garden

Come to the Farmer’s Market this Friday and try our homemade Mint
Tea. We will be harvesting fresh mint in the garden and turning it into
both iced tea and hot tea to sell.

Any RES students interested in helping to sell (for 15 minutes or a
half hour) please stop by the booth and let us know. Any parents
interested in helping out as well, please RSVP and pick a time you’d
like to sell some tea. Everything will be prepared in advance, ready to
go.

All proceeds will go toward purchasing seeds for next year’s garden!
Hope to see lots of you there!

Thanks, Heidi Chapman-Renaud and Joanna May
