Post Office Dramatic Play #resvt #cesuvt

Kindergarten students have set up a dramatic play  Post Office in Ms. Agner's classroom. They were inspired after getting mail through the RES Post Office from their fourth grade buddies. The students read several books about the jobs of postal workers, then got the materials needed to have a post office in their classroom. The students made signs, postal worker uniforms, a mailbox and even a mail truck. The post office sells stamps, envelopes, notepaper and weighs packages. Letters are delivered throughout the classroom. The Kindergarten Post Office is a busy place every afternoon. Students have also been learning about writing letters during their classroom writing time. They have already mailed several letters to other students in our school via the RES postal service.
