After School Enrichment for All--Seeking Teachers

Richmond Elementary School has an exciting after school program called Enrichment for All. It happens on Mondays from 2:30-3:30 for 6 weeks. It offers opportunities for children to learn about new areas they might not otherwise have a chance to explore. We have held classes in cooking and nutrition, Break dancing, Celtic Dance, chess/checkers, weather, kitchen science, Legos and games, yoga, nature crafts, food crafts, doll crafts, drama, Jumprope for Heart, First Aid, French, RES gardening, RES Newspaper, and many more. It is supported by the Enrichment Teacher, Darcie Rankin, and taught by RES teachers, other professional teachers, parents, and community members.

Our next session is on Monday January 6th-February 17th 2014 (except January 20th). We are looking for people who would like to share their passion with our scholars. If you would like to spend one hour per week on Monday afternoons for six weeks,  please contact me about teaching a class!  Classes can span a variety of content areas....the most important thing is that you are excited and interested in sharing!   Have an idea?  Please contact me by email at  andrea.greeley@cesuvt.org. Not sure what you might teach, but interested?  We have ideas too! Just drop me an email!

Thanks from our RES Community!
