RES FAMILIES--
Each year FOCUS participates in the nationwide teacher appreciation week celebration. This year it is from May 5th- May 9th. We have decided that this year we will be creating fun snack bags for teachers as a way to say thank you for all they do! We will be assembling snack bags at our scheduled May FOCUS meeting, but will be collecting items after spring break until the 6th of May. Please consider donating some items to make the RES staff feel appreciated! The idea behind these bags is that by people each contributing a little bit we can give all staff members a special fun treat! And with 60 staff in the building, there are often those that get overlooked! This way we are thanking everyone!
The most helpful snacks will be those that have individual packaging so that they can simply be placed in a bag on the night we prepare them. This year we are simplifying by asking for chocolates, seeds, or clementines. If you donate clementines we ask that they not be dropped off until May 5th or 6th so that they are fresh for gift giving. If you cannot donate an item, you can still support teachers by having students make a thank you card to send in for appreciation week. Thanks for helping to recognize RES staff!
