In this week's episode we visit the past with our second grade scholars as they compare and contrast our lives with those of the pilgrims. This Founding Families unit is always a popular one with scholars and educators!
In the second half of the podcast we check in with Michael Hock from the Vermont Agency of Education about the SBAC (Smarter Balanced Assessment Consortium) assessments that will be administered to our students in the spring. Michael shares some of the big differences between the SBAC and the NECAP assessments of old, and also shares some of the most important information he feels parents of scholars should have.
