We recently learned there are community events scheduled on both nights of the RES Open House, scheduled this year for September 19th and 20th from 6:00 -7:00 PM. Open House for preschool through second grade is scheduled for September 19th, while Open House for third and fourth grade is scheduled for September 20th. Our staff considered alternatives in order to accommodate families impacted by this concern, as it is our sincere wish to make this an accessible night for families. Unfortunately, we were not able to make a change this year due to other staff commitments and scheduling challenges.
We appreciate your sharing information with us whenever events conflict between the community and the school, as we try to avoid these situations. Next year we will send copies of our calendar, which is printed and released before the end of the previous school year, to community groups for their planning and increased community/school communication. Thank you for your understanding. We hope to see you at our Open House events.
