RES Students Complete the GCC Challenge!

For the past 50 days, students on the Creative Crew (Ayer/Senning) Team and the Explorers Team (Darby/Erickson) have been tracking their steps every day as part of the Global Children's Challenge.  Each day, classes would enter their class step average and travel the globe.  Classes virtually visited Niagara Falls, Toronto, Disney World, the Galapagos Islands, the Amazon Jungle, South Africa, Madagascar, Uganda, Egypt, Italy, the UK and more.

Together, these RES students collected more than 51 million steps!  This translates into more than 25,000 miles traveled as part of the Challenge.  Even though the challenge has ended for this year, many students are still proudly wearing their pedometers and doing their best to stay active!  Way to go!
