FOCUS Meeting this WEEK!

Our next meeting will be this Wednesday, April 10th! 6-7:30 in the RES library.

Dinner and childcare will be provided.  We hope to see you there!

At the meeting we will discuss:

Father/Daughter Dance--May 4th
The dance has been scheduled for Saturday May 4th. The dance will be at CHMS, with details to be planned at our meeting  Denise Noble is spearheading this event and is looking for volunteers to help with planning. We will be sending out a Sign Up Genius with specific jobs soon--but please contact Denise with ideas or if you are willing to help plan!

This could be a great spring fundraiser for FOCUS! Save the DATE! and please consider helping out!

Teacher Appreciation Week May 6th - May 10th

Plans will be made at Weds FOCUS meeting.  Please provide feedback to your connectors with ideas! (Should we bake treats? Have a card mailbox?? other?)

RES Earth Day--May 11th
As the snow still falls, it might be hard to imagine....but there have been some birds chirping louder these days, and we are looking forward to Spring in Vermont! To celebrate we would like to get RES families together to have fun and be outside for a free and fun community building few hours!  We  are planning several great family activities at RES, including:  gardening, exploring the RES trails, making a recycled materials Mother's Day gift (just in time!) and other outdoor activities TBD!  Save the DATE and please consider helping out.

Future FOCUS meeting dates:

Weds May 8th (we will be discussing any last minute details with for Earth Day, reviewing our budget and discussing a new plan for family FOCUS meetings next school year, and discussing a 4th of July fundraiser)

June 12th (we will be signing cards to welcome K families for next year, celebrating our accomplishments this year and setting the 2013-2014 FOCUS calendar )
