We hope that you are planning to celebrate local farms and food at the Fifth Annual Harvest Festival on Saturday, October 25th from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the West Monitor Barn in Richmond. Enjoy a local lunch and dessert, listen to live music by Loggerhead and Flies in the Porter, bid on great items in a silent auction, and shop at the extensive indoor market. Our friendly vendors include: The Backdoor Bakery, VYCC, Jericho Settlers' Farm, Slopeside Syrup, Starbird Fish, Ewetopia Farm, Maple Wind Farm, Ariel's Infusions, and Midnight Goat Farm. All proceeds will benefit our Farm to School Program, helping us purchase local food and provide farm, food, and nutrition education in our classrooms, cafeteria, and community. This event is free of charge and open to children of all ages and their families. Questions? Contact Hilary Redman, RES Farm to School Coordinator at farmtoschool@cesuvt.org.
PLEASE READ: It's going to take a lot of community power to pull-off this event so if you are interested in volunteering at this wonderful festival, please visit this link to do so:www.SignUpGenius.com/go/ 20F0D4CAAAE2EAAF58-harvest
