The week of December 7-11, all RES scholars in grades kindergarten through four will have a hands-on introduction to computer programming with Hour of Code activities. Kindergartners and first graders will be learning with the Scratch Jr. app for iPads and Android tablets, while second, third, and fourth graders will be using the Star Wars: Building a Galaxy with Code tutorial from Code.org. Both of these programming activities and many more are also available for free for families to use at home.
